The much awaited petrol model of the luxury sedan Volkswagen Jetta is launched at a price of Rs.13.60 lakhs for Trendline and  Rs.15.07 lakhs for Comfortline (both prices ex-showroom New Delhi) . The sales will start from 1 July at Volkswagen showroom across India.  

Volkswagen Jetta petrol has come out in two guises-Trendline and Comfortline and is powered by the compact and frugal Volkswagen Trademark TSI engine that delivers 121bhp @ 5000rpm and 200Nm torque @ 1500-4000rpm. The 1.2L 4-cylinder TSI engine is coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox.

The exteriors of the 2013 Volkswagen Jetta “design DNA” sharpens its style and the “Navarra” alloy wheels along with rear for lights accentuates its dynamic styling. The cabin area is bejeweled with leatherette seat upholstery, leather package for steering wheel, gear shift knob, hand brake grip and Multi-function display “Plus”. With the launch of the Petrol variants, Volkswagen has given the Indian buyers a wide array of choice and at the same point of time completed the Jetta family.
