Tata Venture GX
Tata Venture has now been launched in Maharashtra today making this state the second market for this MPV after the tourist city, Rajasthan. The MPV has been priced at 4.07 lakh (ex showroom, Thane). It is powered by a 1.4 L TDI diesel engine offering a maximum output of 69 bhp at 4500 rpm and a top torque of 13.7 kgm at 2500 rpm. The mileage offered is 15.42 kmpl. Home grown auto manufacturer, Tata Motors today launched its first ever Van, Tata Venture in Rajasthan to be later introduced pan India. Unlike the dull and run of the mill Van we find in our market today, Tata Venture seems to be a breath of fresh air with its European look which adds to its aesthetics. Shattering the myths about utility vans looking drab as ever, Tata with its Tata Venture creates a niche for itself. The striking design and the plug in glass panel provide an upbeat feel to it. This variant has 1.4L 475 IDI turbo diesel engine that generates 71PS of power at 4500rpm and 138Nm of maximum torque at 2500rpm. It has dual HVAC with roof integrated louvers and power steering. Tata Motors unveiled the Venture multi-utility vehicle at the 2010 Auto Expo in New Delhi and launched it after few months. Recently, Venture was also launched in Rajasthan. Venture is available in three variants - CX, EX and GX. It is powered by a 1.4 litre turbo chared diesel engine and the company claims mileage of around 16 kmpl on highway.
