Tata Motors has launched the newer version of its “World’s most Compact Sedan” as Indigo eCs. Indigo eCs is the world’s shortest sedan with the size of hatchback and space of a sedan car. Tata has revamped Indigo new eCs front design with minor facelift, new headlamps, alloy wheels, electric outside rear view mirrors, integrated turn indicators and new front grille complemented by all new dual tone biege interiors. As claimed by company Tata Indigo eCs is the world’s most fuel efficient sedan and is receiving good response from the Indian customers.  The petrol variant of Tata Indigo eCs is powered by 1.19L, 1193cc MPFI with 32-bit microprocessor petrol engine that generates maximum power of 65 Bhp at 5000rpm and 100Nm of maximum torque at 2700rpm. It accelerates from 0-100 kmph mark in 17 seconds and delivers a mileage of 15.0 kmpl in the city and 18.0 kmpl on the highway. Tata Indigo eCs Common Rail CR4, 16 valve DOHC 1396cc, BSIV compliant diesel engine generates a power of 70 Bhp at 4000rpm and 140Nm of maximum torque at 180 rpm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph speed in 18 seconds and mileage of 22.0 kmpl in the city and 25 kmpl on the highways. Tata Indigo eCS TDI turbocharge, BSIII compliant diesel engine with intercooler produces a maximum power of 70Bhp at 4500rpm and 135Nm of maximum torque at 2500rpm. It delivers a mileage of 13.6 kmpl in the city and 18.3 kmpl on the highways. Tata Indigo eCs is equipped with comfort and luxury features like power windows, Height adjustable driver seat, Auto Drive Assist, AC and Heater, Dual Tone-Beige & Coco Brown Interiors, electrically adjustable ORVMs and Tinted Glasses. Tata Indigo eCs is loaded with safety features like ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), Central Locking with Key and Keyless Entry option, child safety locks and warning buzzer that gives a warning whenever the driver door is open.
