This variant has 1.6 litre MPI petrol engine that delivers 105 bhp of peak power at 5250rpm and a 153 Nm of peak torque at 3800 rpm. The engine is fitted with a 5-speed manual transmission and direct rack & pinion with electro mechanic power steering. The all new Skoda Rapid is really a great car with awe-inspiring and dynamic looks. Interior comfort and styling is top notch with spectacular ergonomic seats. Features installed in the Skoda Rapid are also good even the pricing has been kept alluring. Ride quality and handling of this Czech is butter smooth. Fuel efficiency is also decent and the engine refinement is just terrific with excellent pick up and acceleration. The only drawback of buying Rapid is the poor service network and the downmarket attitude of the service persons over there. It literally seems that they are offering the vehicle for free. After sales service network should be increased and the executive over there should be taught how to deal with the customers.
