The Land Rover Range Rover has a very powerful exterior pulsating with the robustness and strength concealed within. This luxury four-wheel drive vehicle provides the latest technology, high performance and comfort at one place for a ride full of adventure and fun. The exterior is adorned with a rear roof mounted spoiler, body colour complementing mirror caps, Xenon front lighting and twin strip design on the grille with a very dark colored finish. The acoustic windscreen and the laminated front glass depict style and functionality at the same time. The wheels are 19 inch 15-spoke alloy ones which are very sporty. The interior is very lavishly done and is very spacious. The ergonomically designed seats with a centre console and stylish illumination create a very pleasurable ambiance. COMAND driving system, cup holders, Push button start, leather clad seats, waterfall lighting, foot well lamps, automatic climate control, front dome lamps and map lights are some major features of the interior. Range Rover comes with three engine options: 4.4 TDV8 Diesel Engine, 2993cc, TDV6 Diesel Engine and 4999cc, V8 Supercharged Petrol Engine. The 4.4 TDV8 generates maximum power of 310 bhp with maximum torque of 700 nm. The 2993cc, TDV6 generates maximum power of 245 bhp with maximum torque of 600 nm. 4999cc, V8 Supercharged engine develops maximum power of 500 bhp with maximum torque of 625 nm. The engine is mated to 6-speed automatic transmission. This is the new, thoroughly re-engineered version of probably the most controversial model ever made by Land Rover. As well as the redesigned, better-quality interior and redesigned front end, the most important changes lie in the drivetrain and chassis. For most buyers the most significant upgrade will be the all-new supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine, which now offers 503bhp and a monster 461lb ft of torque with a claimed combined fuel economy of 19mpg. The six-speed automatic gearbox has been updated and there’s also the option of wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The Terrain Response set-up has been upgraded to include a new, sixth setting called Dynamic Response. This uses an adaptive damping system, in conjunction with the air suspension, which can make calculations about the road and driving conditions 500 times per second. This model also gets an updated Brembo braking system. According to Land Rover, the new supercharged Range Rover Sport has lapped the Nurburgring (on road tyres and in the dry) in just 8min 49sec.
