Land Rover India has launched the Range Rover Evoque to compete with the likes of Audi Q5 and BMW X3. It is available in both coupe and four-door versions. Range Rover Evoque coupe is available in only petrol and Evoque four-door is available in only diesel. Evoque is the best looking Range Rover till date and it easily beats BMW X5, Audi Q5, Volvo XC90 and Mercedes M-Class; when it comes to design and styling. The interiors of Evoque are also very stylish, spacious, feature-rich and well appointed. The petrol Evoque is available in only one variant (Dynamic) and diesel Evoque is available in three variants: Pure, Prestige and Dynamic. The base model of Range Rover Evoque is priced at Rs. 44.75 lakhs; which seems to be very reasonable in comparison to other SUVs available in this segment. The top-end variant is petrol coupe dynamic and it is priced at Rs. 56 lakhs. These prices are ex-showroom Mumbai. Like every Range Rover vehicle, Range Rover Evoque optimizes performance and capability in all on and off-road conditions. It does this by employing a suite of innovative technologies including Terrain Response®, which adapts Range Rover Evoque's engine, transmission and electronic systems to maximize drivability, comfort and traction. There are four Terrain Response® settings: General Driving, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud & Ruts and Sand. Range Rover Evoque is packed with clever, relevant technology including state-of-the-art connectivity. This includes Bluetooth® for both hands free connection, with a compatible mobile phone.Essential connectivity for iPod®, MP3 and USB memory stick is also provided via direct inputs. The audio option on Range Rover Evoque achieves the highest possible sound quality. This Dynamic Coupe variant is available in 2.0-litre Si4 petrol engine, lightweight all-aluminium unit with advanced turbocharging and twin independent variable valve timing that generates 240 Ps of power and 340 Nm maximum torque. The engine is fitted with a 6-speed automatic transmission and drive select, an advanced rotary gearshift with steering wheel mounted paddle controls.
