The Aston Martin Rapide is powered by a 470 horsepower 6.0-liter V-12 engine and Touchtronic II six-speed automatic. Standard exterior features include an adaptive suspension system, 20-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, and bi-xenon headlamps with integrated LED side lights. Interior standard equipment includes automatic front and rear climate control, heated front and rear leather seats with memory, 1000W Bang & Olufsen BeoSound audio system with satellite radio and navigation, and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. The new Luxe trim includes polished alloy wheels, cooled front and rear seats, a twin screen rear seat entertainment system with 6-disc DVD player and a bespoke six piece luggage set. A wide range of paint, wheel and wood trim options are available. Aston Martin has released the images of a new version of their Rapide four-door model called Luxe. The major upgrades brought by the Aston Martin Rapide Luxe are at the interior, which is dominated by a red leather upholstery. Apart from it, the Aston Martin Rapide Luxe also features LCD screen integrated in the headrests, various chrome styling accents and personalized door sill plates. The Aston Martin Rapide Luxe also seem to include a set of matching red leather luggage pack. The Aston Martin Rapide Luxe also comes with the trick Bang & Olufsen sound system and newly designed 20 inch alloy wheels. The exterior of the Aston Martin Rapide Luxe has also received minor updates. The engine of the Aston Martin Rapide Luxe continues to be the 6.0 liter V12 unit developing 350 kW (470 bhp / 477 PS) at 6000 rpm and 600 Nm (443 lb ft) of torque at 5000 rpm. With this engine, the Aston Martin Rapide Luxe can get from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and up to a top speed of 303 km/h. Enhancing the already exclusive four-door "coupe" is the Rapide Luxe, a top-of-the-line trim package that gives the family Aston an extra dose of desirability. The Luxe trim level upgrades with such extra features as tailored luggage matched to the interior leather, a DVD system built into the backs of the front seats, glass switches and key-fob and exclusive color options such as Quantum Silver and Concours Blue.
